ROLPLAY – VALUE ADDED / NON VALUE ADDED
What is the added value of your work? Do you have a clear idea of what it should be?
1. Restaurant / Café
A – CLIENT
You are a customer who has just entered a café for breakfast.
2. Public Administration / Urban Planning
A – ARCHITECT (Citizen)
You are an architect who has a new client interested in building a hotel. This is a great opportunity for you, as you’ve been looking for a project like this for a long time.
Your client has recently inherited a plot of land and would like to know what can be built on it, in order to assess if the price is reasonable.
You’ve come to the local council to request a certification that will confirm whether building the hotel is possible. You expect to receive this document within 1 to 2 weeks at most. Without it, you won’t be able to prepare a preliminary design before the client makes a decision about purchasing the land. If the timeline is not met, you could lose an amazing opportunity for both you and your client.
3. Atom (Construction Company)
A – CLIENT
You’ve inherited a plot of land and you’re interested in building a house. You’re meeting with several companies to compare prices, processes, and timelines. You’re not planning to make a decision during this meeting, as you’d like enough time to explore all the available options first.
